After getting into some trouble with Ishgard and the Temple Knights, Khrollji managed to escape the consequences with the help of a shady merchant, but under one condition: To pay his debt, Khrollji continued his job as a freelance thief by stealing items while the merchant’s hands remain “clean.”

Being scared of vulnerability, depending on who he's around, he will adjust the way he presents himself. Around most, he is friendly but closed off. Around authority figures or knights, he's more snippy.He has a soft spot for the poor and the outcast and has a bias against the rich and any authority figures. He's not much of a leader, but rather plays the role of a follower, as it's much easier to slip through the cracks unnoticed.In short, he's an opportunist. To some, he's fickle, but how he sees it, he's just trying to survive.

BACKSTORY

From a young age, Khrollji knew he wouldn't be able to live the life that was expected of him as a male Viera. The moment when it was confirmed, he set out to see the world and never looked back.If there were any words that could describe Khrollji, rootless would suffice. There's this consistent atmosphere that surrounds him, much like winter's first snow, where the common sentiment is that "He's not from around here."Unfortunately, this became a bad habit of his. His fear of being vulnerable has left him quick to flee when things become too tough to handle.He doesn't reminisce, only interested in living in the moment, no matter how often his past hovers over him, like a looming shadow.His most recent scandal left him a wanted, nameless criminal in Ishgard. Being involved in a thieving heist against a family member of the House Durendaire. Quickly realizing that it was a trap set up by the Temple Knights, Khrollji warned others and quickly pulled out of it. Needing an escape plan out of Ishgard, he made a deal with a shady travelling merchant from Ul'dah.And so, Khrollji embarks on his journey to Ul'dah. A place that doesn't know his name. A place where the rich foolishly display their wealth with boasting pride.
